How much will Gawr Gura: Quest for Bread cost?
$7.19 on Steam. The store carried no price at all until launch day, which is why the pre-release discussion board kept asking what it would be.
Is it on Switch, PS5 or Xbox?
No. Steam is the only announced platform. Nothing in the official listing or the trailer mentions a console version.
Is there a demo?
Yes. The demo went up on 15 June 2026 and is still on the store page. It runs about ten minutes and ends on a boss fight against Mori Calliope.
Do I need to know anything about Hololive?
No. The store page states outright that no knowledge of the streamers is needed, and the demo reviews are overwhelmingly positive (57 of 58) without any of them saying the references were a barrier. The Hololive nods are a layer on top.
How long is the full game?
The developer’s figure is roughly two hours. The demo’s ten minutes is the only part anyone outside the studio has actually played.
Will it be translated into other languages?
Nothing announced. Both the Steam listing and the Japanese-language official trailer state English only — even though demo reviews arrived in Korean, Russian, Chinese, Portuguese and German.
Is this an official Hololive game?
